Looking for YOUR systematic approach to rehabbing a home

I have done plenty of rehabs, all shooting from the hip. I've come to my senses and am in the process of trying to establish a systematic approach to doing one. Does anyone have their own step by step approach they would be willing to share? I'm looking for ways to become more efficient in my work. Thanks!

I've posted a whole lot of my spreadsheets, checklists, templates and methodologies on these forums, on the BP blog and on my own blog. Happy to answer any specific questions...
