I live In the houston area. There are many foreclosed properties on the market due to hurricane Harvey would it be wise to buy and flip a property like this?

@Taylor Stubbs I flip in Houston and am very cautious when it comes to purchasing flood properties. I would advise to do your homework. Some properties have flooded multiple times and I would highly suggest staying away from those on your first flip. Some neighborhoods are selling better than others. Considering it's been over a year since the flood anything on the market has obviously been sitting quite a while. I would pay close attention to what extent they were re-mediated. If you can find one with a TDI certification already in place that would be a plus. I was lucky enough to be able to sell all of my Harvey flips under 31 DOM and at pre Harvey ARV but I think a lot has to do with me really doing my due diligence, not jumping the gun on the purchase, and really studying the neighborhood as well as using adequate finishes. Feel free to reach out if you have any more specific questions.
