Abandoned Housing Act

Here in Kansas City we have something called the Abandoned Housing Act, I wanted to know from BP do any other city's around the country have such a act that allows you to cite people for code violations and if they don't correct the violation(s) then after a process you eventually get deed to the property, I have a few investors that do this and I listed a few of there homes for in the last 2 weeks and they are closing in the next few days .!
