debris in back yard - clean up ideas

Hi everyone - new to the forums.  My husband and I recently bought a house that was flipped.  We're in a very very hot seller's market, and it seems our house was a bit of a hasty flip with some corners cut (we knew this going in from the inspection report, which the sellers refused to negotiate at all - again, big seller's market - and did expect other things to pop up).

One item that we're dealing with is a backyard that has a lot of 'junk' hidden in it.  From pictures, it looks like the original owners had all sorts of junk in the back yard, and the flippers certainly cleaned up much of it. However, it looks like there was some parts where earth was moved around, partly burying the junk at the edges of the yard (house backs up to forest) rather than cleaning up the trash. Extension cords, bits of plasticchairs, bubble wrap, etc. are partly buried in about a 20' region of the back yard.  What's the best way to clean it all up? Do we have to get someone to come remove the whole lot of it (this would probably require additional grading) Shovel and pick through it ourselves? Completely bury it under additional dirt?  Any ideas would be a big help!

It does not depend on your budget. GET RID OF THE JUNK. Rent a back hoe or a skid steer(bobcat) and dig up the junk and rent a dumpster to get rid of it. Put more dirt to fill it in.

It is your reputation that is on the line. Do you want to be known as the people who bury their junk in the back yard?? If you want to be in any business long term, you have a different way of looking at things.

If it was your contractors see if you can get them out there to take care of it. Ultimately it is your responsibility. It is called doing the right thing. Plain and simple.
