What type of kitchen flooring in a low end property?
Hi Everyone! I am currently renovating my mother-in-law's co-op townhouse in Bridgeport Connecticut. It has not been lived in for 15-20 yrs so it needs a lot of work. The co-op is in a nice community of brick houses with slate roofs, but it is definitely a lower income area. Other houses in the community are listed for only $20k-$75k. The place is paid off, but we are trying to keep the reno budget between $3-5k (I am doing most of the work myself). When I am done, I think I should be able to get $50-60k for the place. So my question is about what flooring to put in the kitchen. Should I just put in a roll of laminate vinyl flooring that looks like tile or should I put in a lower end tile?
Thanks for any advice! This is my first flip of sorts and I am really have a lot of fun doing it!
