Back splash ideas?

I have done a few flips but this is my first kitchen gut.  I am struggling with design ideas.  Hoping someone may have a nice back splash recommendation to make this kitchen pop.  The cabinets are off white with a beige counter top.  Also, i think i should paint the window molding.  Any ideas are appreciated.

Lots of people are going for various patterns of subway tile. It is a classic choice and you have a lot of options (standard, brick, herringbone, etc). Plus you can get the 3x6 white tiles pretty cheap.
