SEO vs PPC (Digital Marketing for REI) Beginning Stages!
I'm a do it myself kinda guy. Build my own sites. Do my own SEO. You name it... I've been through a lot of the trials and tribulations in online marketing. 17 years to be exact.
I never really got into direct mail b/c 1) I wasn't always in RE ...and 2) I was so good at generating leads online and converting them through email (auto-responders) or phone (phone transfers) with many other niches that I didn't see a reason to try it.
Down below I'll ask for some advice on direct mailers.
---------
Anyways, I've been going back and forth for the past couple weeks over which different forms of online marketing would be *the best routes* for REI.
There's a lot of similarities when it comes to real estate and per say any other niche.
There's also a lot of differences. But marketing correctly is truly at the core.
Focus on the lead gen firstly... The more you target your exact market the easier the conversions will be ...and you'll easily convert those leads b/c of how YOU market to them and keep up with their needs. (following up)
It's always about the client (home buyer or seller).
I know first hand how the client will think when you approach them in different ways.
Diving in a little...
I love the SEO concept (of course its b/c I don't have to pay for that traffic).
You'll need *your target keyword phrases* & cities, so you can properly get those leads and convert em.
(Testimonial videos are essential nowadays -- using targeted titles on those videos for search results to your website(s) but that's a whole another discussion.)
I'm sure you can find some more information on which terms you are looking to target when you search google yourself. Use "your company + your city" and see what comes up for starters.
I'm not going to get all into this right now, but I'd like to help others succeed with their online marketing efforts.
Since I'm more of a newbie with REI -- I'm starting to put together a HOW TO as I go through the marketing processes myself. What you should and should not do, what you need to do, etc...
I'm a huge believer in automated tools. Squeeze pages that pull people to you via email or phone.
Using automated tools to convert these leads on auto-pilot.
Once you know you've got the client on the hook, its time to convert and interact.
SEO + Automation = Conversions and TIME is everything to REI specialists.
The more I dive into REI the more I can help people succeed here, as I know I will.
Thanks for letting me share my initial thoughts.
I'd love to hear about anyone's successes with direct mail, as that's something I haven't tried before but I can definitely write eye-popping copy for them!
Cheers for now!
