Does anyone do their own staging?

I'm a newbie and am definitely putting the cart before the horse here, but does anyone do their own staging? I'm thinking this would be much more cost effective in the long run if you have a good eye for design. I've noticed in my area that a lot of the staging companies use very generic, dare I say, cheap looking furniture to stage with. I have something else in mind. Any thoughts on this?

J Scott Thank you. Will definitely keep that in mind when the time comes. Btw, just received my copy of The Book on Flipping Houses. Can't wait to dig in!
