Flipping houses in neighborhoods that mainly consist of rentals and vacation homes

Hello,

I live in an area where many homes are rentals (vacation and otherwise). Does anyone have experience flipping houses in areas like this? I'm wondering, on average, how long can I expect to hold on to the property? 

How long does it take to flip a house in a (primarily) rental neighborhood vs. an area that mostly consists of home owners. Or is there any difference?
