Fix & Flip Networking in Chicago

Brennen Clouse
Posted

Hello! I'd like to find places and events to network with experienced flippers in the Chicago area. Aside from this forum and the events promoted here, where else would you recommend looking to find connections or events with experienced flippers in Chicago?

Thanks!

I would recommend searching for local Facebook groups to find events to attend. Most cities have regular real estate meet ups for investors which is often the easiest way to meet local flippers. Also, check out Meetup.com and Eventbrite for real estate investor meetups in your area

@Brennen Clouse I've located & attended a few searching on Eventbrite that host monthly meetups. That is where I suggest starting as I've had some success. Good luck!

Yo yo @Brennen Clouse - Networking networking and networking!  I always remember that rockstars know rockstars, so find someone who is a mover and shaker - likely a meetup host - and then ask them who they know.

The people doing 100 flips are super busy, so I've also found the best person to find is someone who is a step or two ahead of me...so maybe for you, that is someone doing 2-3 flips a year.

My friend @Julio Aguirre is doing quite a few flips on the south side of Chicago right now.  I am happy to make some connections with some other Chicago investors as well!
