Looking into 1st Flip - Middle Tennessee

Anthony Parker
Posted

I've been wanting to get into RE investing for several years now but *insert excuse*. I'm a Realtor and I see so many interesting properties that I think, hmm that could be really great fixed up and might sell for a decent profit... So starting into investing seems to make a lot of sense.

I took a weekend class last spring about all things RE investing and it really got me excited to get started. I've been taking it slow and trying to learn and prep since then...

One thing I haven't done enough of is networking with other investors or contractors.. I've found a couple of interesting flip opportunities but I'm not sure I want to take it on my own or if they are as nice as they look on paper.

With that said, anyone south of Nashville TN doing flips/rehabs and interested in chatting? Are there any investor meetups around the area or other ways to network?

@Anthony Parker

Welcome to the forums. If you're looking for meetings I suggest checking out REINTN.org

There's constant meetings on the schedule and you can attend as many as you want. It's the best source of networking.

I'm doing flips/new construction in the greater Nashville area.
