Considering different markets

Hi all. I am looking for info/ opinions on different markets. I am finally leaving CA. One of the things I have to consider is investment opportunities in areas I am looking at. The areas I am considering are just South of DFW area, Coeur d'Alene ID, UT & Northern NV. My models are rehabbing, flipping & multi unit rentals (2-4 units). From people in those areas, What are your thoughts in these markets?
