New Investor located in Chicago!

Hello everyone,

I am a newbie investor and looking to purchase my first rental property.

Me and my wife are also an attorney in Chicago, and know a lot of people who can potentially help other BP members here as well.

I am looking to buy a duplex/triplex to begin my portfolio either in Chicago area / Indiana or Milwaukee area.

Any advice would be great! Thanks!

Welcome to BP @Jun Ku. My advice would be to listen to the Biggerpockets podcasts. There is an abundance of amazing information shared by the guests of the podcasts that are successful real estate investors from Biggerpockets. Good luck!
