License Questions - GREC Investigation

 Howdy, I have been in the land business for quite a while but decided to get my license since I will be buying a house in the next few months.

Passed the exam, course, and such but just realized that due to a reckless driving arrest from many years ago I have to go through additional steps before getting my license. 

I dropped off the application at the GREC office today, has anyone been in a similar situation? How long did the "investigation" take? Feel free to PM me if you prefer not to discuss this in public.
