@Kaden Mcmullan very wise to want to get started at such a young age. For now; to learn the game, you have to understand the game. Read, read, read, highlight it, read more... Yes, the end goal is to create self wealth but there is no sense diving head first if you don't know the game. There is so much more then meets the eye. Marketing, finding sellers to buy their homes, are you a good negotiater? You'll need to create a team of people you need to call on as soon as you actually put the seller under contract. Which Lenders to get: private, hard money, your own liquidation.
