QUITTING Real Estate Investing?

Iâ€™ve been there.. Have you?  Have you  come to your breaking point? You tell yourself, I never make this Real estate thing to work, maybe you been pushinâ€™ for months or even years, with nothing to show for it, and it seems the Dream starts to fade away? Well We All have, but  If you keep going for your goals- learning and growing, you will reach your goal, and you will make this happen. Sometimes we just need someone to tell you to keep fighting- Let me know If this helped anyone.

Quitting real estate investing would be a very very last resort for us. Having depended on it full time since 1994 - it has become somewhat automatic. Your plans and goals change over the years, but real estate remains as the center. In our earlier years, we were in single family homes and thought we would stay there forever. Got into apartments from 1994-2003 and again thought we would remain there forever. Now we are comfortable with MHPs. We may look at trying to refianance some of these and with the extra cash look at trying some private lending. Still that dear friend real estate remains in the center!

Can't say as I have ever thought about quitting RE.  I can say though that when I started working full time for myself there was a brief period that I questioned the decision.

Having a plan, well defined goals and a desire to achieve go along ways towards be successful.  I have learned how to find and negotiate RE deals in different economic environments.  Deals are harder to find in a sellers market, but they can be found.  In the current buyers market there are lots of deals to be found.
