Did you hear about the San Diego market???

Hi all,

I'm curious to know what resources you use to keep up to date with what's going on in the San Diego market? I would like to better understand the different neighborhoods and cities around San Diego and would love your input on how you stay up to date with the market changes in your area.

@Ryan Martinez Google search NSDREI which has a monthly market update in our meetings led by Jerry Ryan. Also Google search Patrick Kappel who's a San Diego real estate agent with in depth rich micro and marco economic info. Cheers.

I'm trying to copy @Twana Rasoul but it's not tagging his name. Google search Twana and contact him. He's with the Kappell group who puts out super rich market info. Same with NSREI.

Your best source of information is a property manager that has enough properties or years on the job to know about your specific area.  Email /text a few and let them (price, cash flow vs appreciation, year built, condition....) the more specific  you are the better they can help you.

    Some of the new features include:

     One email, regardless of the number of zip codes          you receive.  Within the body of the email you will find a button          for each zip code.
     If you receive a SFR and Condo report for the same          zip code, you will now be able to view both reports by clicking on the          tab at the top on the report.
     Larger graphs to help you better understand and          articulate the market trends
     Social media sharing is now a breeze. Just click on          "share" up at the right and sharing is just one more click          away.

Hi Ryan,For direct data, we have copious data reports available through our MLS we can run. They can send weekly text updates broken down by zip code. Our Board of Realtors also produces ongoing reports on market changes - New Listings, Pendings, Solds, Price changes, SFR vs Attached, Volume, Days on Market, etc. You can look at the whole county or broken down by zip code.

There is a guy in SoCal used to work at a big title company, he puts out a report every two weeks about what is going on with the data and what they see. He covers Orange County (where I am at), Inland Empire, and I also believe he started San Diego too. It's a news letter type email that goes out, and he also does a weekly Facebook update every week as well.

Search Reports on Housing Steven Thomas and you'll find him.
