Fixer upper turned into wedding venue?

Hey everyone, hope y’all are having a fantastic night.

I was just wondering if anyone here has ever turned a house/property into a wedding venue?

My wife and I just recently bought an old 1800’s house on 6 acres of land. This house is a fixer upper but structurally fantastic! It will be our main home for a good while.

So my questions are:

Was it worth it to you? Why? Why not?

Is there anything that I should be aware of that you wish you had known when getting started?

Are there tax benefits?

How much parking do you think I need?

Really just looking to talk about this. Any advice would be amazing! Thank you!
