What's the best way to screen and protect the event space?
I have a self check-in listing on Peerspace. I've collect their photo ID, contact information, and I've been asking all guest to obtain COI from all confirmed bookings prior to their arrival. However, Peerspace has $100 deductible for qualified damages which is not so great for minor damages, or even some damages that cause around $200-300. Guests normally don't like to be asked to cover damages that they caused and sometimes give a lower rating because we ask them to cover it even though they have COI that insures my listing.
So I'm exploring the event guest screening option that they could put down the security deposit as well.
1. Superhog - I've been using this for STR but not sure if it would be good with event guests
2. Chargeautomation - Seems fine to collect deposit but a bit clunky in my opinion
3. Any suggestions on other softwares? Any suggestions in general?
