Temporary Camping for the 2024 Eclipse

During the 2017 total solar eclipse that went across the US, I heard that people were renting out space in pastures, fields, etc. for RVs, tents, and primitive camping.   
Did anyone on here participate in that?  If so I'd like to speak with you about that.  We have some acreage under the path of totality. I can't imagine missing out on this opportunity if it's a viable one.
