Where to get for the data on market trends in real estate.

Greetings ladies and gentlemen.

A question has been burning my mind:

Where do you find out information about the market trends so that it puts you on the best possible ground to predict the next cycle in the real estate market?

This could be a very important information because i can shift my focus to places where the market is heading downward or stagnating to buy properties at a better prices and build my portfolio of investments.

Where would go to get solid data in Washington state and the greater Seattle zone, beside tracking the interest rate in the newspapers?

I value your insights.

Hi @Mo Sylla  here are a few places to look at.

http://realestate.washington.edu/ Our own local University has a lot of data from the Runstad Dept of RE!

https://www.nar.realtor/research-and-statistics/research-reports#market larger trend data not always most current info

ttps://www.irem.org/resources/research--statistics this has a lot of data and current articles related to RE.  The more you poke around the more you’ll find.

https://www.redfin.com/blog/data-center Yes, Redfin has a lot of good info outside their regular site.

Happy researching!  Update us on your findings and conclusions!
