I was researching a property in Texas on Zillow and when I got down to where they show recent sales in the area, there are no sales prices shown. Is this data not public in Texas? Thanks

However, all of this is changing in 2021 as Zillow is in the process of becoming a Broker in most of the major MLS systems and therefore will have MLS access. They will no longer have a syndication feed of all MLS listings but will have an IDX feed
