My first deal. Please help!

Hi all,

I'm a long-time lurker, first-time poster. A business associate reached out to me, asking if I want to take possession of 7 trailers that were affected by the hurricane. From all that I have read and heard on Bigger Pockets, there is certainly a market for these trailers. What would I need to ensure that I legitimately have title to them? Would a signed quitclaim deed and/or general warranty deed suffice?

What kinds of title searching, if any, would I need to perform?

Given some time, I may be able to find the answers if I dig deep into the forum, however time is of the essence at this point; and I don't want to blow this opportunity by hesitating and delay taking possession.

Any help would greatly appreciated!

Regards,

Minh
