Eviction Process Advice

It's finally happened - I potentially have my first eviction on my hands.

Does anyone have any advice for the process in Harris County? I have found the gov websites with information, but am looking for any tips or advice that anyone may have from personal experience. This being my first time, I want to be prepared and do it right.

Also, is it worth hiring a third party to handle the process? Has anyone had good experience with any specific companies?

I personally would use an attorney. There are attorneys that focus primarily on real estate transactions, and evictions. Their fees are usually pretty competitive since they do this all of the time. Yes, you could do it yourself (if the property is in your name) but, I would hire an attorney. It will save you time, and hassle. It allows you to get back to what makes you money, buying, and renting investment properties.
