Memphis REIA

I discovered the Bigger Pockets website several months ago and became really excited about all the great information that is being shared on the topic of succeeding financially using Real Estate. Since then I started a new position and have not been able to be active in the discussions nor reading the posts being shared by all. 

Now that I have completed training and have a few months of experience within my new position I'm ready to get involved with the closest REIA club to me which happens to be in Memphis, TN. Is anyone here a member of the Memphis REIA and can you tell me what a newbie like myself should expect to take away from attending the meetings?

I'm both excited and somewhat nervous about attending a meeting with experienced investors so any information on what takes place during the meetings will be appreciated!
