Introducing myself and curious about South County?

Hello, I just wanted to reach out introduce myself to this group. I've been thinking a lot about getting involved in REI in RI, and I have really enjoyed exploring this forum and learning more about what folks are up to. I grew up in RI, and although I'm currently living out of state, I am hoping to move back someday. I'm interested in real estate to diversify my investments and potentially create some streams of passive income, and RI seems to be a good place for me to start.

More specifically, I was wondering if anyone here owns rental properties in South County? I know this isn’t the cheapest market to get into, but I grew up in the area and am more familiar with it. I’d be curious to know what kind of experiences people have had working in this part of RI. Thanks and looking forward to learning more from you all!
