Investing in Wilson , Fayetteville and Greenville NC?

I'm *considering* not investing in Raleigh homes anymore and moving onto places such as Fayetteville. What should I know about the areas before proceeding. What areas / zones / neighborhoods are more popular for rentals?

Hello,

I have investment properties in Fayetteville, Spring Lake, and Cameron. All of them perform VERY well as rentals. It's pretty easy to find and keep qualified tenants. Not all of Fayetteville and surrounding areas are bad. Granted, I dont have any experience in Raleigh, but I would definitely encourage looking outside of your immediate market if you are having a hard time finding deals. Please feel free to send me a PM if you are looking for more information on the area. I would be glad to help.

I would caution against trying to flip houses in this area - im sure its possible, but the market just isn't as "hot" for sellers as it is in other areas.
