Mentorship in the Twin Cities

Hello all,

I will keep this short!

I am a real estate beginner. I recently retired from a 6 year professional baseball career. I have been learning about real estate for the past couple of years and am now ready to take the next steps.

I am not looking for a quick buc. I realize real estate investing is not a get rich quick game. I am in it for the long run and ready to begin the journey.

At this point, I am looking for mentorship and experience. At the same time, I want to add value to your real estate goals; whether that be through helping find deals, answering phone calls, marketing, visiting properties, etc.

I look forward to connecting and any advice is much appreciated!

Thanks,

Bryan

@Bryan Johns

Welcome to BP!  There are a lot of resources on the site for getting started.  I'd recommend J Scott's book on Flipping Houses.  Not because that should be your focus, but it helps you identify an area you want to invest in.  Another great book is Rich Dad/Poor Dad by Kiyosaki.

There are also many resources on the site, including the podcasts.  One of my favorites features Dawn Anastasi of Milwaukee, who bought most of her properties at the 2% rule.  It is podcast #29.

We have a twin cities BP group that meets periodically.
