You should check out this video on the "l-curve" too:

L-Curve

People's sense of entitlement and miscalibration of the value they deliver to society will never be corrected. The simple fact is that one can do whatever they're capable of doing in our society. Do some have it easier? Sure. Do some have to work harder than other to achieve the same amount of wealth? Sure. Do most piss and moan about how bad they have it relative to others instead of getting off their duff and doing something about it? Yeap.

I bet I work over 100 hours a week. Jon Klaus can probably attest to this. Do I sit around expecting for someone to hand over the keys to success. Hell no! If there are walls I am going to tear them down. If there are obstacles I remove them. I'll find a way to get it done. I won't be a victim no matter how easy the allure is.

Quit crying in your beer and get out there and make it on your own. Nobody is stopping you. See you at the top!

“The brick walls are there for a reason. The brick walls are not there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something. Because the brick walls are there to stop the people who don’t want it badly enough. They’re there to stop the other people.”

-Randy Pausch, The Last Lecture
