Owner financing (Buyer) in Colorado

In October of 2007 I had an owner finance on a mobile home, due to the fact that my ex husband and I parted ways he was letting our home be foreclosed on. I had a short time and no credit to find a place for my young daughter and i to live. I was introduced to a broker who then handled everything and promised to help get me financing after 18 months is what was written in the contract. Well the help never happened and the owners have continued to carry the loan for the past 12 years. I inquired this past year about the balance of the loan, because I never recieved monthly statements of any kind. My purchase price was $49500.00 and I've paid almost $70000.00 and they told me I still owed $43000.00 and quit communicating with me after I asked for a printout of where my payments have been applied.
