Hedge Fund Investing Questions

Ok, If anyone has experience or knows about hedge funds I would appreciate some assistance. Ok, to try and make this short, I invested $20K into a hedge fund that was doing commodities investing. After making money for about 4 months I get info that there was an issue with one of the people the hedge fund was doing business with and the account has been frozen ( I dont know if or how much money is still in the account ). Fast forward to today which is 7 months ago my money is in limbo and no real word on whats going on. I ask them questions but do not get any real info that I am looking for. So, what should I be doing to insure things are going on to get my money back?
