Have you read the Health Care Bill?

How many of you have read a good portion of the health care bill?

I must admit, I coudn't sit and crack out 1000 or so pages of legal jargon at one sitting but, I did find a site with some bullet points, then I located a download of the bill. From there I've been chipping away at it. Anyway, I wanted to ask views from those who have read a good portion of the bill. Personally, I see this as a huge mistake.

Tim -

The government has been involved in those things for a long time now, in the form of laws describing parental choices, taxation, parental responsibility, end-of-life rights, etc.

If you think the government intervening in this stuff is new, you're just plain naive.

By the way, you clearly only looked at the "points" above and didn't actually read any of the actual text of the bill. Had you done that, you'd realize that much of what you said isn't true.

For example, please provide me some reference to special needs care being restricted any more than it already is? According the special needs section of the bill, it's just extending out into the future the existing regulations in the Social Security Act.

But, then again, you don't actually spend any time doing your due diligence, that would impede the time you had to complain. You're as bad as all the politicians you complain about -- you throw around untruths without doing any research.
