Becoming an American?

I currently invest in properties in Canada but hope to expand my investments into the US market (California hopefully). I would also like to obtain my RE license and Broker License.

Now my question, are US real estate firms willing to sponsor employers to obtain their citizenship? Are they more willing to sponsor an employee if they have an accredited 4 year degree which would consider them more of an asset to the firm?

Please, if you have any information or loop holes that would help me obtain US citizenship as soon as possible, please let me know.

Thanks.
