Is it so hard to be truthful?
I closed another Sub2 yesterday on a rental property and the seller who is a former investor  wanted to keep the frig out of the unit b/c she said hers went out in her primary home (which I'll probably end up with as well). She said the frig went out a day or 2 before, I wasn't excited about having to get a new frig but it's going to be a good enough deal I said sure why not...............................................just have it out by the time I get there tomorrow and have a lock box put on. She said ok I'll have it out before then(which I assumed wasn't an issue b/c she showed up to sign the papers with her husband who had a p/up truck).
update....................Lock box is placed and frig is still there.
Now this is where I get upset, if your frig went out at home, why wouldn't you hurry up and get the other one? why would you say you'll have it out by tomorrow and not get it done?
Why wouldn't you just tell the truth and say you want the frig b/c your greedy and want to sell it on Craigslist instead of letting it convey, why must you make up a sad story as we're signing papers?
here's whats going to happen now, they'll show up Sunday afternoon and find out they can't get in the house (b/c the locksmith already showed up today to change the locks) and call me furious they can't get into MY HOUSE and demand I come there to let them in.
frustrating.............................
