Iran Threat Real or Not?

So we found no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and decided to go to plan "B" which was to reconstruct their government. Now we have a possible real threat in Iran. Is it real or is someone crying wolf again? Can we afford action in Iran. What do some of you think? I'd like to know.
