International money transfer

Posted

Hi Everyone!

Looking for some insight, I have money in Colombia South America in a savings account that I want to transfer here to the US to invest. However, currently if I simply transfer from bank to bank, the amount of money I lose is absurd being that the current value of the Colombian Peso is so high. I am wondering, and perhaps this is me having high hopes, but is there a way to transfer that money to the US (knowing its for investment purposes) in order to avoid some of the fees and not lose more than half the money.
