Meetups in Moscow, ID area?

Question

I'm getting ready to move up to Moscow, ID to finish my undergrad degree at the U of I.

Was wondering if there are any meetups in the local area? I have not looked at Spokane yet as driving 1+ hours away may not be feasible when I first relocate.

Looking forward to start getting to know some of you.

Hey William! Don't know if you're still in the area but on the first Wednesday of every month Story Real Estate in Moscow is having meetups and we've been getting around 40-50 people each month. If you're still in town don't be afraid to swing by!

Hey, William! check out Story Real Estate in Moscow.  They hold one on the first Wednesday of every month if I'm not mistaken.

We also host one in Coeur D' Alene Idaho on the first Thursday of every month, Sandpoint the 2nd Thursday, and two other Spokane Washington ones in between.  Let me know and I can get you more info!

Welcome to the North! Moscow is a great place to go to school. Are you looking at investing in Moscow or just looking for meet ups to continue your learning? Jonna has done great job with Boise but I haven't found equal groups around here. Maybe someone will post and enlighten both of us. If you make it up to Coeur d'Alene, I could  gather some people to get together. Let me know when you want to venture out of the Palouse and into the truly spectacular part of Idaho. (JK sort of)

I'm pleased to meet another house hacker! I've just bought my first duplex and plan on renting out the larger of the two units to offset the mortgage payment.

I am currently unaware of any meet-ups, although I am looking for some as well. I'll be sure to let you know if I find any.

Glad to see fellow Vandals on BP @Jonna Weber, it is the best university in the state. Thanks for the tip to change my keywords. Somehow Pullman skipped my mind, even though I remembered to add Spokane.

@Lisa Troxel, I'm interested in a house hack during my time in Moscow. My fiance and I are looking for ways to start investing while we're still in school full-time. And I can never stop learning enough. Right now learning is all I've been able to do. Guess I didn't want to get myself too involved down here in the south knowing that I will be heading north soon. I'll be sending you a colleague request so that we can keep in touch when I get up there.

And I'll be working towards a B.S. in Geology at the U of I.

If you haven't already- try meetup.com. If you happen to stop in Boise sometime the Boise Investor Group has monthly and weekly meetings too.
