Spent the day driving around NW/SW ATL, what do you think of...
Spent the day driving around NW/SW Atlanta to get a feel of the areas. Used a few upcoming landmarks as a guide to the areas I'd like to invest in. Landmarks were the Bellwood Quarry, Mall at west end, Monday Night Garage (in the west end), and Mercedes Benz stadium. The areas I'm now interested in are: Grove Park, Westview, West lake, Westside, West End (maybe. Prices are too high at the moment), Bankhead (maybe), Rockdale (maybe), Bolton (maybe).
Anyone have insight, or thoughts on any of the above areas? Things I'm interested in hearing opinions, and thoughts on:
1) Are these great up and coming areas to invest in?
2) Will those landmarks rival PCM, Piedmont, e.t.c, but for West Atlanta?
3) these seem like c class neighborhoods, not as rough as Pittsburgh; is that an accurate statement?
4) What should asking, and bid prices look like in these areas?
5) Am I looking at the wrong areas? If so, where should I set my sights on within NW/SW Atlanta?
6) What should I be looking for in these areas?
7) Any thing else come to mind?
Thanks!
PS: Also drove around Pittsburgh, Ashview heights, Oakland city, Washington Park, and Vine City. These were also interesting areas that were within the vicinity of the landmarks. Bonus question: What are your thoughts these areas?
