House Hacking in South Florida

Hi all,

Wanted to quickly introduce myself and start to get some opinions on the market in South Florida. I'm transferring to South Florida for work in the next 6-7 months and am planning on purchasing my first investment property there. For reference, my work will be located as far south as Miami and as far North as West Palm Beach, so there is some degree of flexibility as to where I invest.

Right now I'm planning on house hacking- purchasing a multifamily property and living in one of the units. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
