Hello from Indiana
Hello All,
I've been listening to, and reading BiggerPockets for a few months now. It's time for me to get off my butt and start doing something. Getting involved here and with some of the local Investment groups seems like the perfect place to start. I've been interested in real estate since seeing my first Carlton Sheets infomercial. Not sure where to actually start. I don't have a lot of money to start off. My long term goal is to build up some monthly cash flow through buy and hold. Not sure where to things will go from here. I look forward to interacting with all of you.
Andrew,
Welcome to BP and thanks for stopping by and you are at the right place to start your journey.

@Andrew Bradley Welcome to BP! Keep reading, listening, and asking questions. Build your foundation. Get up to speed on your local market, watch what is selling, for how much, and what amenities, finishes, etc. they have. Go to Open Houses, etc.
Have fun! Consider putting a pic on your profile. Also, you might want to fill out the keyword alerts.

@Andrew Bradley Welcome to BP. You have a great area to begin real estate in. I am doing my diligence and hoping to begin buy a SFR or 2 in your area. Good Luck.
@Andrew Bradley I am looking at smaller SFRs, seems you can get those pretty cheap and still have decent rental income. The cost of buying a SFR that grosses 600$ a month there is 1/3 of my cost locally. Currently most of my money is committed to a flip that will take me 4 to 8 months so it may be awhile before I can buy. My plan is to pay cash, I don't think banks want to lend on 30K properties to an out of state buyer. Your population and job growth looks strong so I hope the market will continue.
