Brrr, cash flow, security. These are some of my favorite things. I live in a town of 32,000 people in North Central Iowa. Hailing from a large upper lower class family of 8, we didn't always have enough. This is my major motivation behind my real estate investing, To create generational wealth to pull my family above the poverty line through long term affordable rental investments. While yes, I want to make money, I also want to provide safe, clean affordable housing for people currently living in my conditions I had to be raised in.

I love reading/audio books! I work overnight which gives me plenty of time to cram every BP podcast and listen to some audio books. This makes daytime investing hard on the sleep schedule but I cant expect someone else to hustle to fulfill my dreams.

Currently playing: Grant Cardone's 10X Rule and it changes my mindset completely!

I enjoy working with my hands! Creating or renovation is something find fun! A lot of the houses i come in contact with are old, turn of last century, lath and plaster houses. They all have their unique "charms." Most of the 3/1 3/2 4/1.5 houses for sale are 115+ years old in the area. This creates an opportunity to refresh/update/renovate these old tired houses into something new and exciting.

For fun i enjoy hiking, fishing, and video games. I have a unique mindset from video games that has impacted my life and real estate investing. Feel free to reach out and ask about it!

What am i looking for from Bigger Pockets and its community? Being in a small town in a small state in the middle of no where is rough. Sure there is investors, agents, and property management companies in the area. And they all stink. or maybe I just haven't found the right agent yet. Either way, BP is my online mentor. Its helps me run deals with the calculators, keeps my education up with books and podcasts, and its inspiring to see what other investors are doing in their area and it reminds me there is no reason why i cant do the same thing if the numbers work.

However! If your from Iowa and your reading this, Howdy neighbor! Lets connect! This lonely corner of the world is ripe for the picking after the current real estate hot spots dry out so lets get a leg up on them and make our small towns beautiful in the process. Id love to partner.
