Tips for first steps of a new foreign investor.
I'm from South America and in the previus stages of real estate investing. Recently joined this interesting site.
As investor I'd like to use as little money as possible out of my pocket and make a great return, so that ,I'll try to find deals in order to purchase a near rent ready property in the $35/$50 K range and shoot for as close to the 1,5/2 %rule as possible while the investiment 'd be In cash.
As a foreigner, I 'd be passive since I could make a trip to U.S once a year, so that ,I'm thinking on buy home class B-/C cash flowing and any appreciation 'd be a bonus.
I'm still undicided so my invest destination could be Detroit or Baltimore..
According to my goals detailed above, I ask you:
1) Detroit or Baltimore?
2) Whitch Zip Codes could be better.
3) Any advice would be appreciated.
Sorry for my poor English and Thank you in advance.
