Hi, everyone!

Thanks for creating such a welcoming and helpful place here at Biggerpockets! I've been listening (and loving!) the podcasts for several months, and can't wait to get started in real estate!

I'm from SC and recently moved to Atlanta with my husband for his job. We bought our first investment property, a student rental, 2 years ago in SC. We'd like to stay local for our investments, and I'm feeling a little overwhelmed living in the ATL area! We're looking for good cash flow from buy and hold properties (the goal is to have passive income to supplement some of my income so I can retire from my day job when we start a family- I guess that makes me a motivated buyer :).

We're having trouble building a real estate team, and any recommendations y'all have would be so helpful! It's been difficult finding an agent who returns our calls and wants to show us properties. We're also interested in finding a good property manager (that seems to be a common theme in the forums :). We have some ideas on good areas for rentals but are definitely open to suggestions for locations to focus on!

Thanks for reading my novel of an introduction, and thanks in advance for your help!

~Diane
