Retirement Options: What is best?

Hello all,

I'm writing to seek some help!!!
I'm at the point where I'm ready to plan for retirement.
I am fortunately blessed with a group of friends in faith for about 30+ years, located all over the United States. We have been through the ups and downs of our life together as a small community. We wanted to retire together so we can support each other during the last few years of our lives. So we're looking for a place where 5-10 years from now we could start migrating to be together.

I'm trying to figure out what would be our best option. I'm thinking that my options are:

1. Buying some unrestricted lands and get a few mobile homes on the land. That way, we can still have our own privacy and still be close to each other. We wanted to grow a garden and a few animals for consumption. I think I can find unrestricted land in Texas. I'm unsure: What is needed to be done once I get the land? Do I need to develop a mobile home park like it's a commercial property, which seems to be too complicated? Or are there simpler options?
and how much it would cost to develop something?

2. Alternative, my options might be to buy an existing mobile home park?
3. Are there other options existing that I can just buy instead of development one? We're open to either Texas, Florida or California.

Initially, I am thinking that whatever options that I ended up with, I might rent it out for the next 5-10 of years until we're ready to retire .

Thank you in advance,

Binh An
