Hello Everyone,

Wanted to drop in and introduce myself. I have no background in real estate but I've considered venturing into home rentals for years and am in heavy research mode now. I'm most likely going to go the passive route and hire a property management company. Since I'm leaning toward the hands-off approach I'm considering starting with a property (probably a duplex) in the northwest Arkansas (NWA) Fayetteville/Springdale/Rogers area. My pie-in-the-sky long term goal is to transition from working a day job to living on the income from multiple rental properties.

Any books that are considered must-read for rental property owners I should check out?

Glad to be here!

Jacob
