Hey everyone! My name is Manny and I've been reading through the bigger pockets site for a few weeks now and have been learning SOOO much valuable information and I thank you all - veterans and newbies alike.
While I'm still grossly overwhelmed and confused about RE investing, the fog is clearing day by day. I appreciate all that I have read and have learned while perusing the site in the background I need to get my head together and do ONE deal this year. I feel that in most of my endeavors in businesses outside my comfort zone I've suffered from analysis paralysis because I don't want to get things wrong so I don't act.The one time I did act( or kinda did) I got it wrong, or maybe just went about it wrong so it ruined my confidence.
Since then I've been looking to find another deal but I think my approach was bad. I spent money on renderings of what the building would look like to send to some potential national tenants that I thought would be good for the site. Although they got back to me with interest, the property was already under contract - talk about putting the cart before the horse.
As stated above, my goal is to do one commercial(retail) deal within this next half of the calendar year. I'd like to acquire(by some divine intervention) a one story commercial property in the NYC area(preferably). property with at least 7000SF.
Looking forward in learning from the community.
