I am feeling overwhelmed

Hi everyone. I’m new to real estate investing but serious about learning it. I want people’s opinions about what worked well for them to quickly and cost-effectively get up to speed about learning how to do it right. The stock market has been good to me, and now I’d like to diversify into real estate, but I don’t want to lose money while I’m learning the ropes.

The Internet seems a great place to learn real estate investing, but there’s a problem. First, I don’t know which topics I should learn first, second, and so on. Second, there are numerous sources of information – which are reliable? Third, high-quality providers of education have multiple guides, blogs, etc., about the same topics … how do I know what to look at? I feel overwhelmed.

What do you think is the right path to learn from the ground up? How would you go about learning it if you had to start all over again? Thanks in advance for your generous advice.

P.S. – For what it’s worth, I have a high degree of financial literacy, just not in real estate investing.
