Newbie in Grand Rapids, MI

Hello everyone,

I am new on these forums and I wanted to drop a post to introduce myself.

My name is Craig. My wife and I own a single-family in the north end of Grand Rapids, MI which we have put A LOT of time into to make it our own. We absolutely love our house and have started to learn more about real estate investing and rentals.

I am a journeymen electrician who grew up helping my dad around the house, so I am knowledgeable about home repairs and updates. I've also started the process of becoming a certified home inspector to gain a better overall understanding of assessing potential investments.

I am currently in the learning phase of real estate investing. I have picked up a few of the Bigger Pockets books (Rich Dad, Poor Dad, Invest with little or no down, BRRRR) i've been listening to Bigger Pockets non-stop at 1.5x for the past three weeks and asking my realtor friend any questions I may have.

Overall, I am very excited to be here and learn all that I can from you all. I am hopeful this forum will lead to some possible networking and future relationships.
