Inspection and Asbestos - Lake Arrowhead

Hey everyone, first time home buyers here. We're currently in escrow for a house in Lake Arrowhead, CA with no competing offers at the moment. In a few days, we will meet with the inspector. This house is definitely in need of work, which we are looking forward to, but we are growing concerned about possible asbestos as we plan on opening up walls, windows, flooring, etc. Does anyone have experience with this issue arising while in escrow? How much to have someone out to test for it? If its prevalent throughout, is it worth walking away from the purchase? Any insight greatly appreciated. Thank you!
