Looking for guidance in the Bay Area

Hi guys,

I'm new to the BP community but I'm an avid listener of the BP podcast and I'm just starting out on my journey of becoming an RE investor. I'm looking for a mentor in the Bay Area (as far as up to Sacramento) to help me dive into the world of real estate investing. I've been doing a lot of research but now I think it is time to take action and I couldn't be more excited. I am working on getting my CA Real Estate license by the end of August 2020.

I bring a tangible set of skills that I can apply with any potential mentor's business and/or needs in case he or she is worried that I will not be bringing anything to the table in return for their guidance, education, and potential partnership.

- I have an engineering degree from SJSU. I have a technical and marketing background and being a marketing manager has allowed me to manage email campaigns, newsletter campaigns, as well as all social media content and presence for the last 2 years at my company. I also have customer-facing experience that often had me leading meetings with C-level executives over the last 2 years, as well. I have operations management experience as well as experience in coordinating day-to-day proceedings in the office.

- I'm a very quick learner and have worked with and have adequate knowledge of a variety of software that includes: Hubspot (CRM), DocuSign, MailChimp, Adobe Editor, Dropbox, MS Office, MS Project, both Windows and Mac platforms, etc. Anything new and unfamiliar can be picked in a matter of days, if not hours.

This is just to show that I can be of value in a variety of ways for potential mentors especially if they have their own companies!

I'm open to learning about flipping homes, BRRRR, long term buy and hold, etc.

I am very eager for a chance to get my foot through the door and willing to do all of the legwork when it comes to deals as long as I'm shown what to do. I'm hungry and extremely motivated and I really look forward to hearing from you guys!

Cheers,

Ranjot
